I know I haven't been posting for ages. In fact, when I went to this blog I didn't even know if it's still here. I logged in and of course everything looks different and it takes me 2 minutes to figure out how to write a post, hm... Anyway, my reason for posting is that I'm reading Steinbeck's "Grapes of Wrath" at the moment and it's stiring something that is important to me. Here it is:

What if it meant less of this and more of...

„one“ - neue EP von...

... Brush The Wolf! Jepp, neues Jahr, neue EP, neuer Name. Außerdem noch neue Homepage, neue Facebook und neue Bandcamp. Geblieben sind dieselben drei Typen mit demselben Sound.

Wir haben ja schon lange versucht unseren Livesound auf Platte zu kriegen, waren aber nie so ganz zufrieden mit den Ergebnissen. Im vergangenen Sommer dann haben wir einen kleinen Durchbruch gehabt und zum ersten mal Aufnahmen produziert, die wir auch gern selber hören (mehr zu den Aufnahmen hier). Den Rest des Jahres haben wir dann noch am Klang geschraubt (hauptsächlich Eugen) bis wir alle mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden waren und die EP zum pressen geschickt haben.
Die zweite Sache mit der wir nie so ganz zufrieden gewesen sind war der Bandname. Brush war ok und wir konnten alle ganz gut damit leben, aber eben auch nicht mehr. So haben wir unsern ersten Tonträger als Anlass genommen für den Namenswechsel und wir hoffen er gefällt unseren Fans genauso gut wie uns.
